In line with its growth strategy, Accenture recently unveiled its plans to acquire Intellera Consulting, a prominent consultancy firm based in Italy, although the financial terms remain undisclosed. Founded in 2021, Intellera Consulting operates from its main offices in Rome and Milan, boasting a workforce of over 1,400 professionals spanning diverse disciplines. The company holds a significant position as a provider of professional services in Italy, particularly catering to the public administration and healthcare sectors.
This acquisition aligns seamlessly with Accenture’s expansion initiatives and targeted investments in Italy, aimed at supporting local public sector entities in enhancing and modernizing citizen services. Notably, this move follows Accenture’s recent acquisitions of Customer Management IT and SirfinPA.
Mauro Macchi, chairman and CEO of Accenture Italia, emphasized the strategic significance of integrating Intellera’s talent and skills into Accenture’s operations. He highlighted that this integration would bolster Accenture’s capabilities in delivering innovation and transformation for its public service clients, thereby advancing its mission of serving modern, responsible, citizen-oriented government.
